Section Three: Art and Religion in West Africa Section Four: Culture and Art: Narrow Strip Weaving dispersal through West Africa, with particular reference to KENTE CLOTH and history of best known "Cloth of the Asante Kings" including meaning of various patterns, culture and history of Asante Nation. I.B. Art and Culture in Western, Nigeria among the Yoruba people.- Six Hours to be determined by client. II: “Kente Cloth: A Political Icon Since the Civil Rights Movement and the work of W.E. Dubois, Marcus Garvey and Kwame Nkrumah. III: "Kente: Cloth of the Asante Kings and Asante Culture" IV: "Kente Cloth: From Ethnic Identity to Pan-African Symbol" V: “Cultural Competence” - Building bridges across difference and partnerships for positive action” VI: Weaving and Clothing: “A Reflection of Culture among the Akan of Ghana and the Maya of Mexico.” VII: Black Culture and The Visual Arts: From NOMMO (BAM) to Kwame Nkrumah.
